If you are looking for ways to get new clients for your law firm, you want to keep in mind the customer lifecycle in marketing. Maybe you have heard of this process? If not, please check out this quick post about How to Get New Clients for a Law Firm: The Customer Lifecycle in Law Firm Marketing:
First Stage: Engage
In the first stage, Engage, you want to attract clients to a law firm. You make contact with a new legal client. With technology nowadays, that's usually having a website for your new clients to visit after searching on Google. Providing potential clients with forms for them to be able to forward to you their legal issues is an option in this stage.
Second Stage: Nurture
In the second stage, Nurture, you are known to the client. But now is when you need to market your legal services to them. They are going to try researching their options, and you are more effective if you stand out from your competition. Follow up with that client's form that they forwarded to you. Is the legal issue something you can assist them with? Is it something you can refer to another attorney?
Third Stage: Convert
In the third stage, Convert, the client has made a decision, and they are in contact with you. You want them to be a new client, not a potential new client. You have the consultation with your client. Have you gotten your client to retain your services? Have you maybe had to refer them elsewhere? Excellent service for this client leads to a referral of your own, to their coworkers, friends, and family.
